Pricing & Estimates

All prices displayed on the ShineMasters website, booking page, service menu, social media, or promotional materials are starting prices unless specifically stated otherwise. Final pricing is based on the actual vehicle, requested service, vehicle size, overall condition, contamination level, and the labor required to complete the work.

Estimates provided by text, phone, email, photos, or online booking are based on the information available at that time. An estimate is not a guaranteed final price when the vehicle’s in-person condition is substantially different from what was described or shown.

Any meaningful price adjustment will be explained before additional work is performed.

Vehicle Size & Condition

Larger or more complex vehicles generally require more time, chemicals, equipment, and physical labor. Pricing may increase for oversized vehicles or vehicles requiring significantly more work than a standard appointment.

  • Third-row SUVs, full-size SUVs, vans, and large trucks
  • Lifted trucks, work trucks, and commercial vehicles
  • Heavy pet hair, sand, mud, food debris, or excessive clutter
  • Deep stains, spills, smoke residue, odors, mold concerns, or biological contamination
  • Heavy oxidation, road film, brake dust, bugs, sap, tar, or embedded contamination
  • Vehicles that have been neglected or require restoration-style cleaning

Interior-Only & Exterior-Only Services

ShineMasters offers standalone interior-only and exterior-only detailing in addition to complete inside-and-out packages. These services are quoted individually because the amount of labor can vary greatly from one vehicle to another.

Contact us with your vehicle year, make, model, requested service, and a few clear photos. We will recommend an appropriate service and provide a personalized estimate.

Potential Discounts

Discounts may be available when multiple vehicles are scheduled at the same location, when a customer books recurring maintenance service, or when an appointment can be grouped near another confirmed job in the same area.

Discounts are not guaranteed and depend on scheduling, travel distance, service combination, vehicle condition, and the amount of labor involved. Any available discount will be confirmed before the appointment.

Mobile Service & Travel

ShineMasters is a mobile detailing business and normally provides the water and power needed to complete your service. Customers must provide a safe, legal, and reasonably level area with enough space around the vehicle for equipment and detailing work.

A travel charge, adjusted service minimum, or customized quote may apply for appointments outside the normal service area, remote locations, toll routes, difficult-access properties, or jobs requiring extended travel.

Photos, Descriptions & In-Person Inspection

Clear photos help ShineMasters estimate the amount of time and work required. Photos should show the overall exterior, front and rear seats, carpets, floor mats, cargo area, visible stains, pet hair, damage, oxidation, or other areas of concern.

Photos do not always reveal odor, embedded contamination, paint defects, wet carpet, damaged materials, or the true depth of stains. The vehicle may be inspected in person before service begins, and the estimate may be adjusted if previously unseen conditions significantly change the scope of work.

Results & Service Limitations

ShineMasters aims to achieve the best reasonable improvement while protecting the vehicle. Detailing can greatly improve appearance and cleanliness, but it cannot guarantee that every stain, smell, scratch, defect, or damaged material will be completely removed or restored.

  • Some stains may be permanent or may reappear after drying
  • Odors may return when the source is beneath carpet, padding, seats, or interior panels
  • Pet hair may remain embedded in certain fabrics or inaccessible areas
  • Deep scratches, chips, dents, etching, and clear-coat failure cannot be corrected through normal detailing
  • Oxidized or damaged trim, leather, plastic, fabric, and paint may improve without returning to like-new condition
  • Results depend on material type, age, previous repairs, previous cleaning attempts, and existing damage

Personal Belongings & Vehicle Contents

Customers should remove valuables, money, medications, firearms, important documents, fragile items, child seats when possible, and unnecessary personal belongings before the appointment.

Heavy clutter may limit access to areas of the vehicle, increase the service time, or require an adjusted price. ShineMasters may place remaining loose belongings into a bag or container during service but is not responsible for identifying the value or importance of items left inside the vehicle.

Weather, Safety & Rescheduling

Mobile detailing is affected by rain, lightning, severe heat, freezing temperatures, high winds, unsafe ground conditions, and other weather-related concerns. Appointments may need to be delayed, relocated, shortened, or rescheduled when conditions could affect safety, product performance, equipment, or service quality.

ShineMasters will make reasonable efforts to communicate weather-related changes as soon as practical. Covered workspace may allow some services to continue, but the final decision depends on the service and conditions at the appointment location.

Preexisting Damage & Fragile Materials

Vehicles may contain damage or weakened materials that become more visible during cleaning. This may include loose trim, peeling clear coat, cracked plastics, worn leather, failing tint, damaged upholstery, repaired paint, rust, water intrusion, broken clips, brittle emblems, loose headliners, electrical issues, or improperly installed accessories.

ShineMasters may document visible concerns before beginning and may avoid or limit work on areas where normal detailing could worsen an existing issue. Customers should disclose known leaks, electrical problems, aftermarket modifications, recent paintwork, loose parts, previous repairs, or other relevant conditions before service.

Paint Correction, Polishing & Ceramic Coatings

Paint correction and polishing are improvement processes, not guaranteed perfection. The safe level of correction depends on paint thickness, paint type, previous bodywork, defect depth, panel condition, and the amount of clear coat available.

Some scratches, chips, etching, oxidation, water spotting, or previous repair defects may remain after polishing. Deep defects may require touch-up paint, sanding, repainting, body repair, or another specialized service.

Ceramic coatings add protection, gloss, slickness, and easier maintenance, but they do not make a vehicle scratch-proof, rock-chip-proof, stain-proof, or maintenance-free. Coated vehicles still require proper washing and ongoing care.

Appointment Preparation & Customer Access

To help the appointment begin on time, please make sure the vehicle is accessible, unlocked or accompanied by an available key, and parked in the agreed service area. Gates, parking restrictions, apartment rules, HOA restrictions, business permissions, or property-access requirements should be addressed before arrival.

  • Remove valuables and unnecessary personal belongings
  • Provide access to the vehicle and keys as arranged
  • Make sure there is enough safe space around the vehicle
  • Disclose known damage, leaks, electrical issues, or fragile areas
  • Confirm that mobile detailing is allowed at the property
  • Keep pets and children safely away from equipment and the active work area

Final Pricing & Additional Work Approval

If the vehicle requires substantially more work than expected, ShineMasters will explain the condition, recommended service, and any price adjustment before proceeding with major additional work.

Customers may choose to approve the additional work, reduce the requested scope, select a different service, or decline optional upgrades. Work already completed or time already committed may still be chargeable when a service has begun.

The goal is clear communication: no major surprise charges and no major additional work without discussing it first.

Questions Before Booking?

Send a few photos and tell us what you would like addressed. We can help you choose the right package, discuss any special conditions, and provide a more accurate estimate.

By scheduling service, the customer acknowledges that final pricing and achievable results depend on the actual vehicle condition, selected service, and any approved changes to the scope of work.
